I just received my order and love this ghost pepper salt. It definitely has a kick and if you appreciate having your tongue tingle....buy this. The taste is great and makes everything taste better. I'll be buying more.
The black and gold blend, the steeltown garlic and herb and the applewood smoked pepper all get a lot of use in our kitchen! We just used the creole blackening blend on French fries last night, man... that's the new go-to for fries now. Absolutely love Steel City Salt Co and I'm happy to be supporting such a wonderful Pittsburgh business!
I love Yinzer Dust on so many different things, it adds so much flavor! My favorite is avocado grilled cheese though, it adds the perfect flavor and spice.
I can't say enough good things about this company!! I have loved all of the seasonings I have tried! my favs include the black truffle salt and dill pickle salt! super fast delivery with everything packaged extra nice to prevent damage during shipping. They usually include some free same samples with every order and a sticker! I ordered a t-shirt with my last order and the color is so bright and pops and I love it! the strip district chicken and waffles has been and interesting one, I've only tried it on chicken but it give its a sweet and salty taste with the maple :) have to try it on popcorn but my fav on popcorn is the truffle salt. keep up the great work and stay salty.

My favorite bagel seasoning!! I use it on eggs, bagels, and cottage cheese for added flavor.
This packs the heat and should be used sparingly the first time to calibrate your mouth to this salt. Once calibrated, "have at it!"
Love the shop and how beautifully curated it is. I love the variety of products. A recipe called for a very unusual spice I have never heard and knew it wouldn’t be found in any grocery store and sure enough SSS had it! I also love that it’s locally owned and they have Pittsburgh named spice blends. I learned by visiting the shop that spices and blending spices is an art form.
While it's great for pierogis, I also use it on vegetables (string beans, greens) and fish. Another winner from Steel City Salt!
