Curing Salt Prague #1 powder, also known as pink curing salt or InstaCure #1, is a crucial ingredient in the art of preserving meat.

Composed primarily of pure sodium chloride (table salt) and sodium nitrite, this powder plays a vital role in inhibiting the growth of harmful bacteria, such as Clostridium botulinum, while enhancing flavor and preserving the natural color of meats.

Use 1oz of cure for 25lb of meat, or 1 level Teaspoon for 5lb of meat. Mix cure with cold water.
