Using gorgeous semi-flakey Trapani Sicilian Sea Salt as a base along with freshly ground spices including toasted onion, California garlic, bell peppers, mustard, and many other herbs & spices, this hand-mixed blend is full of tasty goodness with lots of depth that will turn on your food and have your taste buds happy:)

Uses: Fries, popcorn, roasted/sauteed/grilled veggies, steak, eggs (any way), salads, guacamole (YUM), chicken, pierogies, as a fish & shrimp marinade, in a DIY chip-dip, try it on EVERYTHING!!!

My new all purpose seasoning

I have been looking for an all purpose seasoning and I have finally found it. From breakfast to supper this seasoning can be put on anything! It brightens up the flavor of pretty much anything that it touches. Kind of like the city itself. If you want to try only one thing to start with from this company then this is it but be prepared to want to explore more flavors!

I stumbled across Steel City Salt Company while doing an online search for smoked salt. One of my daughters is vegetarian, and I thought the smoked salt would add a nice depth of flavor to this former meat eater’s food. I order a number of different varieties for us both to try.

You know it’s good when you place a second order within a month or two of your first, and you not only buy big refill bags for yourself but also buy starter bottles for all of your other adult kids. My absolute favorites from the first order are Smoked Hickory Salt, Black and Gold Blend, and love Pittsburgh Everything Salt. My second order also included some new, to me at least, selections that I can’t wait to try.

I placed that second order one afternoon, and I had the entire order in hand less than 24 hours later—amazing. I do live in central PA, but still, that’s quite impressive! Next, I think a visit to Pittsburgh is in order so I can check out the products in person!
